What OUMTA is (and very deliberately is not)

OUMTA is not an all-purpose tool.
And that’s exactly its strength.

It is not a metronome,
not a DAW,
not a loop or notation system.

OUMTA works like a teleprompter for musicians.

It doesn’t tell you what to play.
It helps you know where you are —
so you can play without constantly having to think ahead.
